Ordering for Christmas and New Year
Order by mid-October for December delivery. This is not a marketing deadline: it is the honest one. International freight into Nigeria slows considerably from November, and customs processing is at its busiest in the weeks before Christmas.
Other periods to plan around
- Eid and Ramadan: allow an extra two weeks
- Chinese New Year (late January to February): many manufacturers close for two to three weeks, which is the single biggest delay of the year
- Back to school (August to September): heavier demand, slightly slower dispatch
